Tom is back in the Valley

I am back in the Valley of the Sun. Spent some time down south,did a little bird hunting, and finished the journey today. Our final night together was spent camping near Clints Well, after a fairly tough day doing a typical "tomshell where are we now how did we get on this rocky piece of shit trail" ride from Kingman to the Rim. As soon as we arrived in camp, near dark, the thunder welcomed us and the rain started right after setting our tents up. We countered with Jiffy Pop, pale ale, and some insightful conversation with most likely the strangest person we met on the entire trip. A real nut job who had it in for germans.....What a freak. Anyways, we tried to get a fire going,mainly to burn some gear we were sick of hanging onto,but the wood was so wet we could not get it alight. So I said, "Piss on it Ben, it wont light". And he did.











It's back to work tomorrow for me and Ben is off to Colorado for a week or so before he rejoins us working stiffs. I hope to put up a wrap up post, and maybe a "best of" photo link, so feel free to check back in in a week or so if interested.
